Man arrested after Sydney roof stand-off

A man who allegedly threw bricks at police officers during a four-hour stand-off from the roof of a Sydney home has been charged.

It's alleged the 41-year-old had armed himself with knives before climbing to the top of the house in Coogee on Saturday night where he made a number of threats.

He eventually surrendered to police and was charged with several offences including three counts of throw missile at police officer. He was refused bail to appear at Waverley Local Court on Monday.
