Prince Edward to visit Sydney school for Duke of Edinburgh award showcase

A Sydney high school plans to welcome Prince Edward during his five-day tour in Australia.
The Earl of Wessex, who is Prince Charles' younger brother, will showcase the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award at Ashfield Boys High School today.
The prince is in the country to commemorate Australia's more than 50-year participation in the award.
Some neighbouring schools have also been invited to the event, including Burwood Girls High School.
The Duke of Edinburgh award enables 14 to 24-year-olds to learn practical skills that are valuable to their personal and professional development.
Prince Edward started off his Australian trip in Sydney on Monday with a visit to NSW Parliament.
He was welcomed by Premier Mike Baird during a special reception.
