Powerful explosion tears through Sydney business

Firefighters are at the scene of a powerful explosion which tore through a shopfront in Sydney's west.

Neighbours reported hearing the massive blast and ran out onto the street to find the Harris Park business well alight. 

All residential units above the shops have been evacuated.

No one is believed to have been injured.

Investigations are continuing.
