80yo among trio charged in cannabis bust

An 80-year-old man is among three men arrested during a raid at a NSW Riverina farm which uncovered cannabis with a street value of $5.5 million, two shotguns, two rifles, ammunition and cash.
More than 2500 plants were found during the operation at a Colinroobie property, about 70km east of Griffith, on Thursday morning.
Three men aged 47, 54 and 80, who are not related, were charged with drug offences. The trio were refused bail and will appear in Griffith Local Court on Friday.
