Police search for missing Sydney boy, 12

A 12-year-old boy from Sydney's west has gone missing and police are appealing to the public for help.

Jyah Divall, from Penrith, hasn't been seen since he got off a train at Redfern Station at 6.30pm on Thursday, police say.

The 12-year-old doesn't have food or money and police are concerned for his welfare.

Police believe Jyah could be in the inner city suburb of Waterloo.

He's described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 150cm tall, with a thin build, olive complexion and short light brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt with green sleeves and grey shorts.
