Police search for missing NSW four-wheel-drive enthusiast

Police are asking for help from the public to find a man missing in the NSW Blue Mountains.

Peter Lomnicki was last seen on Monday afternoon at his home in Winmalee.

The 55-year-old, who is a keen four-wheel-drive enthusiast, may be travelling in his gold-coloured 2003 Nissan Patrol with NSW registration PL 114.

Mr Lomnicki is known to frequent popular foul-wheel-driving destinations in the Newnes, Sunny Corner, Lithgow, Goulburn and Wombeyan Caves areas.

He suffers from a medical condition and police hold grave concerns for his welfare.

He is described as being Caucasian in appearance, 170 to 180cm tall, has a large build with brown hair, greying moustache and brown eyes.

Mr Lomnicki was last seen wearing grey shorts and a navy blue t-shirt.
