Police investigate Sydney wedding brawl

A brawl at a Sydney wedding has left a man with a broken nose.

Police say there were called to the Leichhardt venue in Sydney's inner west about 10pm on Saturday but the brawl had already ended.

The centre was hosting a wedding reception when an argument between about 30 people turned violent, Nine News reported.

A 43-year-old man was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital with a broken nose, while a 26-year-old who was allegedly aggressive towards police was arrested and taken to Newtown Police Station, police said.

The 26-year-old was issued with a criminal infringement notice for offensive language.
