Police called to fire find cannabis set-up

A suspicious fire at a home in Sydney's west has led to the discovery of a hydroponic cannabis set-up.

Firefighters and police were called to the blaze in Fairfield on Wednesday evening to find two front rooms well alight.

The fire was put out and officers inspecting the property found the cannabis set-up.

Nobody was at home at the time.
