Pizza delivery man threatened with machete

A hungry customer has threatened a pizza delivery driver with a machete before stealing his pizzas in Sydney's west.

The driver delivered the pizza to a unit in Kingswood on Wednesday just after 5pm when a man believed to be the customer threatened him with the machete, police allege.

The armed man, who's believed to be aged between 25-35, then stole the pizzas and fled on foot towards the Great Western Highway.

Police investigations are continuing.
