Cyclist dies after being struck by car
AAP
An 83-year-old cyclist has died after being struck by a car while riding on the NSW Central Coast.
The woman was cycling just before 5.30pm on Friday at Berkeley Vale when she was hit. She was treated at the scene but died a short time later.
It marks the third death on NSW roads on Friday, with a man believed to be in his 70s killed when the ute in which he was a passenger collided with a semi-trailer, and a 44-year-old pedestrian struck and killed by a truck while walking along a highway on the state's far south coast.
