Pedestrian critical after Sydney collision

A pedestrian is fighting for life after being hit by a truck in Sydney's inner-west.

It's believed the man, thought to be aged in his 40s, was critically injured after getting off a bus in Camperdown on Monday afternoon.

The truck driver was not hurt in the collision and will undergo mandatory blood and urine tests, while two lanes of City Road have been shut down as investigators piece together what happened.
