Paraglider crashes on Sydney's coast

Firefighters and paramedics have conducted a dramatic rescue on Sydney's Northern Beaches to help a female paraglider who was trapped on the side of a cliff.

After being called at 11am on Wednesday, firefighters and a paramedic abseiled around 15m down the cliff face at Robert Dunn Reserve in Mona Vale.

The paraglider was freed and lowered to the base of the cliff and is understood to be uninjured.
