P-plater fighting for life after bus crash

A teenage P-plater is in a critical condition after her car collided with a school bus in Sydney's northwest.

The 17-year-old girl was trapped in the wreckage for 25 minutes after her hatchback and the high-school bus collided at a busy intersection in Kellyville.

She was treated at the scene for serious head and abdominal injuries then taken to Westmead Hospital.

There were no reports of serious injuries for those on the bus.
