NSW woman suspended over student claims

Police are reportedly investigating claims that a female staff member had inappropriate relations with students at a school in northern NSW.

The staff member at the Greater Public Schools (GPS) school in Armidale was suspended after the allegations were made, according to Fairfax Media.

NSW Police confirmed an investigation is underway into a staff member at a school in Armidale.

They say officers were made aware of allegations last month.

The Armidale School on the New England Tablelands is an independent Anglican boarding and day school for boys from kindergarten to Year 12.
