NSW woman bruised after attack
Police are searching for a group of teenagers after a NSW woman was punched and headbutted as the attackers tried to take her handbag.
The 20-year-old woman was walking at Sussex Inlet on the state's south coast late on Wednesday night when a group of youths demanded her handbag.
Police said the group punched her in the head, headbutted her and continued to attack her until she managed to escape.
She was treated by paramedics for bruising and swelling to her face and torso, but declined further medical attention.
Police are looking for three people in connection with the attack: a Caucasian girl, aged about 13; a Caucasian woman, aged about 18, with a blue and red-coloured Mohawk hairstyle; and a Caucasian male with black spiky hair.
