An arborist has been airlifted to a Sydney hospital suffering multiple injuries after falling 15 metres from a tree in the Blue Mountains.
The 50-year-old man was treated at Springwood property for a broken arm, fractioned leg and a number of cuts after falling from the tree on Friday morning.
A CareFlight helicopter was able to land about 300 metres from the property, with an ambulance taking the man from the home to the chopper and on to Westmead Hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.
