NSW toddler walks out into traffic

A toddler who stumbled out onto a busy street has been rescued by a driver who shielded the youth from oncoming traffic.

Footage of the incident was recorded on a dash cam and shows the young child stepping out onto a road in Villawood, NSW.

The child appears unfazed by the heavy traffic and wanders straight off the driveway in what would be a parent’s worst nightmare.

The driver immediately pulls over and uses his vehicle to protect the toddler before reuniting it with its family.

No injuries were reported.
