NSW toddler almost drowns in backyard pool

A toddler is in a critical condition after nearly drowning in a swimming pool in Sydney's northwest.
The two-year-old boy was found in the backyard pool at a home on Castlewood Drive, Castle Hill about 3:45pm on Saturday.
He was rescued and airlifted to the Children's Hospital at Westmead, where he remains in a critical condition.
