NSW teacher charged with child abuse

A teacher who allegedly abused three teenage students at a tertiary institute in southern NSW has been charged.

Police say the 52-year-old teacher is accused of indecently assaulting the female students, two aged 16 and one 15, at a Wagga Wagga campus in March and April.

It is believed the assaults occurred on the TAFE campus at Wagga Wagga.

Child abuse squad detectives charged the man on Tuesday morning with six counts of indecent assault and six counts of common assault.

Conditional bail was granted to the man and he is due before Wagga Wagga court in September.
