NSW primary students will swarm to the annual state spelling bee where a winner will be crowned on Wednesday.

Out of 130,000 plus students who competed in regional finals, sweet victory will go to the top spellers at the state championship in Sydney.

Students will have to navigate through words such as "bouzouki", "culottes" and "seneschal" to succeed.

Students travelling from Tamworth and Parkes will join metropolitan students from Glenmore, Coogee and other areas to spell it out for the Premier's spelling bee crown.

The final half hour of the competition will be broadcast live on ABC local radio from 5.30pm on Wednesday.
