NSW police officer punched in brawl

A man has been charged with assaulting a police officer during a brawl in Sydney's southwest.
About 50 people were involved in the brawl about 12.30am on Sunday at Panania where a 41-year-old man allegedly punched a police officer as he was being arrested, police say.
The man has been charged with resisting police in the execution of duty and two counts of assault police.
