NSW police officer faces child sex charges

A Sydney police officer has been charged with sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl.
The alleged indecent and sexual assault happened between 2011 and 2012, and a 31-year-old senior constable was arrested on Wednesday following a six-month investigation.
He was charged with sexual intercourse with a child under 16 and aggravated indecent assault with a child under 16, and is due face Downing Centre Local Court on June 30.
