AAP
A NSW officer is facing common assault charges after a police operation in Sydney's west.
The male senior constable was served with a future court attendance notice after investigations found he allegedly assaulted two people during a police operation in Dawson Mall at Mount Druitt in January this year.
He has been suspended from duty with pay and will face Downing Centre Local Court on November 3 to answer allegations of common assault and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
