Man airlifted to hospital after NSW crash

A man has been airlifted to hospital with head injuries after his car fell 10 metres down a gully in the Illawarra region.

The driver, in his mid-20s, was trapped and unconscious in the car, which veered off Bulli Pass Road at Bulli just after midday on Thursday, closing the road for several hours.

He has been airlifted to St George Hospital in a stable condition with head injuries and a serious leg injury.
