NSW man's arm stuck in pasta-maker

A restaurant worker has broken his arm after it was trapped in a pasta-making machine in Sydney.
Emergency services spent more than an hour freeing the 25-year-old man from the machine at a Darlinghurst restaurant in Sydney's east this morning.
Paramedics, a doctor and an intensive care nurse stabilised the man while the police rescue team dismantled the machine.

He was taken to hospital in a serious but stable condition and is being treated for a suspected compound fracture to his right arm.
Workcover is investigating the incident and have issued a notice suspending the use of the pasta machine.
