NSW man dies after crashing car into tree

A 30-year-old man has died after crashing his car into a tree near Maroota, west of Gosford.
No one else was in the car when it veered off Old Northern Road and hit the tree in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Investigations into the crash are continuing, NSW police say.

Another driver was killed in a second single-vehicle crash at Luddenham, near Penrith, on Saturday afternoon.
The woman behind the wheel died at the scene.
Initial investigations suggest she veered off the road around 2pm and hit a tree.
