NSW man charged over drunken attack on bus

A man will face court accused of assaulting a Wollongong bus driver and threatening passengers in a drunken attack.
It is alleged the 44-year-old caused injuries to the driver's hand, wrist and arm before throwing a beer bottle which damaged a window when police were called.
He has been charged with assault, intimidation, drinking alcohol on bus, malicious damage, resisting arrest and assaulting police over the Wednesday night incident and will appear before Wollongong Local Court next month.
