NSW man charged over counterfeit notes

A man has been charged with passing counterfeit notes in the Hunter.
Small business owners in Lemon Tree Passage and Salamander Bay went to police after they diccovered they had received counterfeit notes.
After an investigation, a 41-year-old Nelson Bay man was charged on Monday with dishonestly obtaining financial advantage by deception and breaching bail.

He was refused bail to appear in Raymond Terrace Local Court on Tuesday.
