NSW man charged after allegedly stealing pizzas and hiding under lounge

A 19-year-old man has been caught hiding under a lounge in a house in Wollongong after allegedly stealing three pizzas.

Armed with a knife, the teen allegedly approached a pizza delivery driver on Sunday night in Berkeley and stole the pizzas and ran away, police say.

He was found by police hiding in a house in an adjacent street, the pizza boxes allegedly on the ground, and has been charged with armed robbery.
