A man has been arrested in NSW after a toddler was taken to intensive care with injuries to his head and body.

The 32-year-old man was charged on Thursday with causing reckless grievous bodily harm to the infant, a month to the day after the seven-month-old boy was brought to Wyong Hospital with injuries to his head and body.

After a stay at the Intensive Care Unit of the Sydney Children's Hospital, the boy has since been transferred to another hospital where he is still undergoing treatment for his injuries.
