NSW man bashed, kidnapped in DV attack

A man accused of bashing and kidnapping a man in a domestic violence attack near Coffs Harbour has been charged.

The 26-year-old victim was punched several times in the face and threatened with a knife at a home in Ulong on September 23, police say.

His alleged attacker, 50, forced him to remain in the home overnight.

The victim was later treated for a broken jaw, cuts and bruises at Grafton Hospital.

The alleged attacker was charged with several offences, including reckless grievous bodily harm, and was remanded in custody on Wednesday to appear in court on November 8.
