NSW man arrested over stolen guns after police sting
An alleged drug peddler accused of possessing a stolen bobcat and keeping an arsenal of guns buried at a western Sydney property has been charged by police.
The 25-year-old man was pulled over and arrested at a car stop at Oxley Park on Thursday morning.
Officers then searched a house at Llandilo, uncovering four rifles and two pistols buried at the property, as well as a bobcat, believed to be stolen.
Ice and fake money were also found at the property, police say.
He was charged with a string of offences, including supplying drugs and four counts of possessing prohibited firearms.
An 18-year-old woman was charged with commercial drug supply, following a related search at an Oxley Park home.
The pair were refused bail and will appear at Mt Druitt Local Court on Friday.
