A NSW man has been arrested in a western Sydney car park after allegedly using the internet to prey on an undercover police officer posing as a 14-year-old boy.
Police apprehended the 33-year-old in Penrith on Wednesday and searched a nearby hotel room as well as his Moruya home, where they seized a laptop and two mobile phones.
Police allege the man, who was refused bail to appear at the Penrith Local Court on Thursday, was making arrangements to meet a person he thought was the 14-year-old boy.
