NSW kidnap victim had arm, jaw broken
A man had his arm and jaw broken after he was allegedly kidnapped in NSW's Illawarra region last month.
Police say the 38-year-old was abducted on January 3 and held for several days at a location in Oak Flats.
A 43-year-old man was allegedly kidnapped and assaulted in a separate incident at Wollongong on January 20.
It's understood the assaults are alleged to be drug-related.
Three men and a woman who knew the victims have been charged with detaining in company occasioning bodily harm.
One of the men, aged 22, was also charged with several other offences, including detaining in company with intent to obtain advantage, driving a conveyance taken without consent of the owner, and goods in custody.
He and the woman, aged 29, are due to appear in the Wollongong Local Court on March 16.
A 40-year-old man is due to appear in the same court on March 9, while a 37-year-old man appeared before that court earlier on Thursday.
