NSW jury deliberates over Zanker verdict

A NSW Supreme Court jury is continuing deliberations about a man accused of planning the murder of a western Sydney cannabis labourer.

Shaun Steven Zanker has pleaded not guilty to the July 2014 murder of Jacob Munro, whose body was found months later in a grave at Bulahdelah State Forest, north of Newcastle.

The 27-year-old told the court last week that he was not privy to plans by his colleagues to kill Mr Munro, and that even when they told him they were digging a grave in preparation for his burial, he didn't take them seriously.
