NSW hydro crop uncovered after blaze

A house fire on the NSW Central Coast has uncovered a hydroponic cannabis crop with up to 500 plants.
Police tried to enter the burning Berkeley Vale home on Sunday night with fears there may have been a resident inside but were forced back due to the intensity of the blaze
Fire & Rescue NSW firefighters extinguished the fire and it was then a hydroponic cannabis crop of up to 500 plants was discovered inside the Wyong Road property.

Forensic police will sift through the residence once it's deemed safe, while there have been no reports of missing residents.
