NSW driver on run after fatal crash

A driver who fled a car crash in which his female passenger was killed is on the run.

The 38-year-old woman was fatally injured when the car she was travelling in just before noon on Sunday hit a car driven by a 45 year-old woman on Warwick Street, Punchbowl.

Police are searching for the driver of the car carrying the passenger, which they say had stolen number plates.
