NSW couple try to steal boy's gold chain

A man and a woman tried to rob a 13-year-old boy of his gold neck chain in Sydney's west.
The boy was walking in Merrylands about 8.45pm on Wednesday when a man got out of a car and spoke to him before driving off.
He then returned with a woman, got out of the car and demanded the chain.

A 22-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman have been charged with attempted robbery and will face Fairfield Local Court on Thursday.
The woman was also charged over an outstanding warrant.
