NSW cop to appear in court for assault

A NSW senior constable is expected to appear in court charged with assaulting a woman during a domestic argument in Sydney.
The 47-year-old man allegedly assaulted the woman, 48, on Sunday evening.
He was arrested and charged with occasioning actual bodily harm, and is due to appear in Liverpool Local Court on Tuesday.

Police say the man's employment status is under review.
