NSW cop pleads not guilty to assault

A Sydney police officer charged over an alleged assault has pleaded not guilty.
Sergeant Anthony Page is accused of carrying out the assault while on duty in Sydney's northwest in November.
Page, who is on bail, pleaded not guilty on Monday to one charge of assault occasioning actual bodily harm during a brief appearance at Downing Centre Local Court, where he will return next month.
