Two people have been arrested after they allegedly led police on a chase through NSW's Central Coast, which ended in a crash, then were found to be carrying three guns.

Police alleged the pursuit began when a sedan failed to stop for officers on Del Rio Drive in Copacabana about 7.40am today.

The sedan allegedly crashed into a police car, causing minor damage.

No one was injured.

Police chased the sedan north through Kincumber, Avoca and Terrigal until it crashed on Cabarita Street in Wamberal.

A 27-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman were arrested at the scene and taken to Gosford Station.

Officers searched the sedan and allegedly found three guns inside, which have been seized for further examination.

Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage to contact Crime Stoppers.
