No anger over Aust mum's killers

A Sydney woman says she doesn't feel any anger towards the three men accused of murdering her mother in India.

Toni Anne Ludgate disappeared in August, a month after travelling to the ashram of Hindu guru Sathya Sai Baba in the southern state of Andhra Pradesh.

On the weekend police exhumed the woman's body from a remote location.

A guard at Ms Ludgate's residential block was arrested over the murder.

His two friends have also been arrested, AP reports.

The men robbed the 75-year-old mother and grandmother of money and jewellery before killing her, police say.

News of the grisly discovery made its way back to Ms Ludgate's Sydney-based daughter Traci Harding, who said she felt sorry for the accused killer.

"I haven't felt any anger towards this man and what he has done," she told AAP.

"I'm not a seek retribution person. It's up to the Indian authorities to decide what to do with these men."

Ms Ludgate was cremated in a traditional ceremony in India.

A memorial service is expected to be held in line with Ms Ludgate's birthday later this month.
