Fresh delay in Angry's son murder case

The case against a man accused of murdering rocker Angry Anderson's son on a Sydney northern beaches street has again been delayed.

Prosecutors still have not received an autopsy report on 26-year-old Liam Anderson, who was allegedly beaten to death in November, Manly Local Court was told on Tuesday.

It is expected to be delivered by Thursday.

Magistrate Michelle Goodwin adjourned the case to June 25 at Central Local Court.

Matthew Flame - the 20-year-old accused of murdering Mr Anderson on a Queenscliff street while under the influence of MDMA, marijuana and alcohol - did not appear and was formally refused bail.

Two outstanding witness statements from police who surveyed the crime scene have been served since the case was last mentioned in April.

At that time, magistrate Megan Greenwood told prosecutors "to get a move on" as she "somewhat reluctantly" gave them until Tuesday to get all documents.

Prosecutors served a partial brief months ago.
