A Nepalese man is facing drug supply charges and deportation after NSW police officers searched his backpack and an inner-Sydney unit and found 54,000 MDMA pills.
The 29-year-old was stopped in a Darlinghurst street on Thursday about midday when officers allegedly found 32,000 MDMA tablets in his bag.
In a subsequent search of a nearby unit, another 22,000 pills were uncovered, along with various substances suspected to be prohibited drugs, police say.
