Mystery truckie sought after NSW crash

A mystery truck driver is being sought by police who believe he might have witnessed a crash in the state's central West that claimed the life of a teenage L-plater and her mother.

Savanah Lang, 16, and her mother Kelly Landers, 39, died on Tuesday after their Ford Laser and a Subaru Outback collided at Molong.

Police believe the driver of a white Kenworth prime mover towing a low-loader trailer with a green tractor on the back may have witnessed the crash.

They want the driver to contact investigators.

The occupants of the Subaru - a woman, a one-year-old boy and a newborn baby girl were uninjured.
