Motorcyclist killed in head-on Syd crash

A motorcyclist has died after colliding head-on with a car in inner-Sydney.

Police say the 28-year-old male rider and a car crashed at an intersection in Alexandria about 6.45am on Wednesday, leaving the motorcyclist critically injured.

He was taken to the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital where he died, while the uninjured 50-year-old driver of the car was taken to Sydney Hospital for mandatory testing.
