Motorbike rebirthing ring smashed
AAP
A sophisticated motorcycle rebirthing syndicate has been dismantled after the arrest of two men at motorcycle dealers across the country.
Following a long-running investigation, police charged a 33-year-old man in Launceston, Tasmania, and a 29-year-old in Frankston, Victoria, this week for their alleged involvement in the sale of 85 re-birthed motorbikes flogged across Australia.
The men will front a Sydney court next month on multiple counts of fraud and dealing in the proceeds of crime.
