Mother charged with NSW toddler's murder

A mother has been charged with her toddler's murder after the three-year-old girl was found dead in a house in central west NSW earlier this month.
The 40-year-old woman was found in a semi-conscious state when police were called to the Orange home on the evening of August 1.
They had been responding to concerns raised about the residents' welfare.

Police said the woman was admitted to hospital for treatment.
She was released and taken to Orange Police Station about noon on Wednesday, and charged with murder.
The woman is due to appear at Orange Local Court on Thursday.
