Missing Sydney woman found safe

A woman missing from a southwestern Sydney home has been found safe and well.

The family of Tasnubah Mahmud raised the alarm when she failed to return from a Sunday afternoon walk from their Minto property and joined police in a public plea for information on Thursday, which was also her 26th birthday.

Ms Mahmud was found safe and well at a local shopping centre about 10am Friday, police said.
