Mine death investigated by Coroner

A coroner will investigate the death of a man, who was discovered unresponsive in a mine outside of Broken Hill.

On Sunday at about 3.30pm a 55-year-old man was discovered unresponsive by a co-worker in an underground area of the mine.

The man was evacuated out of the mine and treated by NSW Ambulance Paramedics, however died on the way to hospital.
